Hello! I'm Ela and I started Cook Eat Joy as each of those words fill me with so much delight. I love cooking and always have since a young girl whether it was cooking and eating fish cakes and tinned tomatoes with my mum after nursery or helping to cook the evening meal of lentils and okra with chappatis.
Cooking for me has always been a real passion and coming from an Indian Gujarati household eating was just as important. There is no way you could leave our family home feeling hungry. The joy feeding people great food gives me is why I want to share my passion for food with you.
I started Cook Eat Joy after having been a secondary school teacher for 18 years and I have brought those teaching skills with me to enable you to have a fun packed class where you will learn the art of blending spices to make your very own Indian feast.
Whether you want to enjoy a group or private class the aim is the same I want you to leave happy and confident that you can recreate the dishes yourself.
